They say you can’t buy love, but one company proves that you can, with a significant portion of every sale going towards saving the lives of shelter animals across the country. Jus Animalium Culture Apparel (JACA)
is a company that’s main goal is to make change through design, by offering fair-trade, eco-friendly t-shirts inspired by animalia with themes ranging from anti-fur education, euthanasia prevention, and respect for beautiful creatures of the earth. For every t-shirt sold $1-$5 goes to the Help A Shelter Project
, which assists 1-2 shelters a month in raising funds for food, medication, supplements, supplies, adoption, or educational programs based on an assessment by JACA and the shelter to determine what it’s animals need most.
They are also currently holding a design contest to raise awareness for their mission of creating widespread change for companion animals. The winner will receive 5% of all sales of the shirt with their design, and can enter images, type design, words or poems.
Here are a few of my favorite current styles, available at JACA’s online store:
American Pit Bull, Mens and Womens $30
The Red Fox, Womens $30
Lobo, Mens and Womens $30
