Alright, I’m not going to make a Beavis and Butthead style joke about this one, but this fun and innovative company is saving planet Earth, starting with Uranus by slinging super-soft boyshorts in a spectrum of colors. Uranus undies are made out of soy byproducts that would otherwise be waste and come in packs of three, which come in an earthy set of beige, black, and moss, or vibrant batch with plum, blue, and taupe.
Sometimes with boyshorts or elastic wastebands you have to deal with weird pinching, muffin tops, and all kinds of other unattractive panty lines but with Uranus it’s quite the opposite. Being my first pair of soy panties, I was very surprised with the comfort, softness and elasticity of the material. While they fit really snugly, it almost feels like they’re not even there – making them also really nice to relax at the house or sleep in. I also love that the company was founded by two college students, and that I can support some young ambitious women entrepreneurs by supporting the company. The Venus (plum/blue/taupe) set was made in the USA, making them especially eco-friendly, and is packaged in a super cute biodegradable burlap bag with the Uranus logo on it.
Uranus shorts are available at http://uranusapparel.com at $27 for a set of three. And if you visit the site, make sure to check out all of their cool videos, they will definitely put a smile on your face!
